Seller Terms

These Seller Terms supplement the Marketplace Terms of Use.

1. Seller status

You must register as either a Private Seller or a Business Seller. A Private Seller acts mainly outside a trade, business, craft, or profession. A Business Seller sells in the course of business or otherwise meets the legal test for professional activity. You must choose truthfully and update your status if your activity changes.

Fashuki may classify or reclassify an account using transaction volume, frequency, sourcing, identical stock, business presentation, or other relevant evidence. We may request a trade licence, tax registration, identity documents, address, bank account, beneficial ownership, or source of goods evidence.

2. Listing standards

• List only permitted fashion items that you own or are authorised to sell.
• Use original photographs of the actual item, taken in good light, showing labels, material, condition, and every defect.
• State the brand, category, size, colour, material, measurements, condition, alterations, repairs, defects, authenticity information, and location accurately.
• Use AED and include any seller controlled charges in the displayed price.
• Do not use stock photographs as the only images, copied descriptions, misleading keywords, false scarcity, or inaccurate brand names.
• Set stock to 1 for a unique preowned item and remove the listing elsewhere once sold.

3. Authenticity and lawful sourcing

You guarantee that every item is authentic, lawfully acquired, safe, and permitted. You must retain purchase receipts, certificates, serial numbers, provenance, and other evidence where available. Fashuki may request this evidence before or after listing and may withhold proceeds while concerns are investigated.

Counterfeit, replica, unauthorised, stolen, recalled, unsafe, or illegally imported items are prohibited. Describing an item as “inspired by”, “dupe”, “same as”, or similar does not make an infringing item acceptable.

4. Order fulfilment

Confirm and dispatch the correct item within the processing time. Package it securely, use the approved delivery method, upload valid tracking, and retain proof of dispatch and delivery. Do not mark an order shipped before handover to the carrier.

If you cannot fulfil, notify Fashuki immediately and cancel through the platform. Repeated cancellation, late shipment, invalid tracking, or item substitution may result in restrictions, fee recovery, or suspension.

5. Communication

Keep transaction communications on Fashuki. Be accurate, courteous, and timely. Do not pressure buyers to communicate or pay outside the platform, share unnecessary personal information, send abusive messages, or market unrelated products without consent.

6. Returns, refunds, and disputes

You must cooperate with claims and provide requested evidence within the stated deadline. If an item is unlawful, counterfeit, defective, damaged, incomplete, not as described, or otherwise eligible under the policy or UAE law, you may be required to accept a return or refund, including reasonable return costs where you are responsible.

A Business Seller must honour mandatory consumer rights and its advertised return, warranty, repair, and replacement obligations. A Private Seller may decline a discretionary change of mind return for a conforming item unless the listing offers one.

7. Fees and proceeds

Fashuki will deduct the published seller commission of [INSERT COMMISSION RATE AND VAT TREATMENT], refunds, chargebacks, adjustments, and other agreed amounts from seller proceeds. All fees must be displayed or linked clearly before listing or sale.

Proceeds may be delayed, offset, or withheld where there is an active dispute, return, chargeback, suspected fraud, policy breach, legal requirement, payment provider instruction, negative balance, or verification issue. The payout timetable and minimum withdrawal are stated in the Payments Policy.

8. Seller service standards

Sellers must meet the published standards for dispatch, tracking, cancellation, accurate descriptions, dispute response, and respectful conduct. Fashuki may display objective performance indicators and verified buyer reviews. We will not present rankings or reviews in a misleading manner.

9. Business Seller duties

A Business Seller must maintain every licence, approval, tax registration, consumer disclosure, invoice, warranty, product safety record, and return process required by law. It must show its legal name, address, contact details, licence details, return terms, and any required Arabic information. It must not ask a consumer to waive mandatory rights. 10. Enforcement

Fashuki may remove listings, cancel orders, hold proceeds, request information, limit visibility, suspend, or close a seller account. Serious or repeated counterfeit, fraud, safety, harassment, off platform payment, or legal violations may lead to immediate permanent removal and reporting to payment providers, rights holders, regulators, or law enforcement where appropriate.
